Right from the opening scene you know that Futurama brings something that TV has been missing for years. The clever comical writing is so refreshing and hilarious! The idea of the show is some what different and this is a huge advantage. The setting for Futurama also brings almost limitless opportunities for laughs.

We're introduced to the characters brilliantly and shown around the year 3000 through the eyes of the comically dim-witted Fry. In my opinion this is what TV has been missing. Funny on so many levels, more of an adult show compared to the Simpsons and you can tell there is an intelligent production team behind Futurama. Pure comedy gold.
