We're further introduced to Tom's life and his condition which is continually changing. Tom even calls on Hyde at will to do what he can't. More plot twists make this another great episode. It is clear that the writing has been well thought through. We are obvious that we're watching a masterpiece unfold.
There is nothing I can fault about this show. Well written, great acting, clever plot twists all keep you on the edge of your chair the entire time.
I'm enjoying this roller-coaster and what do they have in store for us next?

"A modern day take on the classic tale of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde."Click to read review - may contain spoilers
Whenever attempting to modernise a classic you always run the risk of destroying it. Somethings just don't translate to the modern day. But Jekyll is breaking the rules and doing it without a problem.
We're introduced to Tom as he straps himself in preparing to change into Hyde. The show delivers on its promise and everything is played out perfectly. Nothing is unbelievable, the acting and casting is brilliant. Extra points to James Nesbitt who plays both Jekyll & Hyde amazingly. As they are both two entirely different characters.
A great start to what I can tell is going to be something we won't soon forget.

"With 7 Seasons of getting to know the characters, they just jump off the pages."Click to read review - may contain spoilers
I've never really been exposed to Comics before and I must say I'm converted. With the characters clearing set in your mind from the Television series. Its quite easy to pick up where season seven left off. The beauty of the comic series is that Joss can take things where he couldn't before. There really isn't any limits as there was on the television series.
In this issue we see Amy reintroduced as a villain and employed by the government to take out Buffy. There is a great Joss moment where it appears Buffy & Xander are going to get their freak on.
It's amazing that Joss's style can easily translate to any medium. He really isn't restricted by words and pictures on a page. He's work still rings through as if you were watching it on television. I look forward to the next instalment.

"Buffy is back in a new medium, which is less restrictive and Joss is taking full advantage of."Click to read review - may contain spoilers
Buffy is back and in the form of a Comic. I'm reasonably new to the comic front but happy to see Buffy still kicking arse and with Joss behind the wheel its great to see his creation live on within his control.
The comic picks up soon after the ending of Season 7 of our television finale. With most of the gang present and evil still alive and kicking. The comic is beautifully illustrated and is written in only a way that Joss can.
The only downfall is that the instalment is too be, but its been a long time since my last Buffy fix. But the story is already forming nicely and so many possibilities for twisting things along the way in true Joss style.

A seemly popular technique in the television world is first-person narratives. In the foot steps of Veronica Mars & Dexter we have a burned undercover agent Michael Westen giving us an insight into his world, by talking to us directly. It takes a special kind of character to pull off such direct viewer contact, but when done correctly it works very efficiently at connecting your audience and giving them an insight to the characters mind.
Burn Notice is almost like an adult version of Veronica Mars, but Veronica is now a man with guns and a revoked licence to kill. In a similar way Michael talks to us through the episode, cracking jokes and making points faster than other methods of story telling can.
The humour is a little dry in places, more of a pointing out the obvious and stating "that's funny." But the show has promise and can only improve, once the storyline gathers a little momentum.
