Review: Veronica Mars: You Think You Know Somebody

What's not to like about Veronica Mars? She's got her wits about her, but it's not too over the top. She has a human side aswell which we've witnessed and that's what makes this show so great. So this week, she has to locate her boyfriend's father's car, oh and the steroids TJ brought, Veronica discovers her Father's secret girlfriend, Troy is sent off to boarding school but double crosses everyone. But Veronica has sorted that out. V also discovers pictures of herself in a cross hair which might explain why her mother has done a runner.

Another great episode, another single standing episode with the continued story running through it. We made some good headway on understanding why Veronica's mother split. Veronica had been threatened so she felt she had no other option. Clever and well planned writing has this show ahead of the pack.

Its truly a joy to watch.

Review: Veronica Mars: The Wrath of Con

Season 1 / Episode 4 / "The Wrath of Con"
"Nerd Alert..."

This week excellent story telling gives us a better understanding of Veronica's life before Lilly's murder. Her friends, her relationship with Duncan, her seemingly perfect life. With the clever use of flashbacks intertwined with the present and the case of the ill donated money again Veronica shines.

We're given more clues into Lilly's life although these things that won't make sense until later in the season. (Weevil looked very upset)... The Wrath of Con was another great episode. Veronica gets to kick butt, we see the Veronica that was and we gain an understanding why Veronica feels so strongly about solving Lilly's murder.

Veronica Mars is delivering excellence every episode, great stories and captivating characters. What do they have in store for us next?

Review: Veronica Mars: Meet John Smith

Season 1 / Episode 3 / "Meet John Smith"
"90 miles..."

This show is gutsy, a son trying to find his father - sure that's simple enough. But what if he had a sex change and is now a woman? Not shy of the far from mainstream content are we? But again just as like the last episode the story unfolds in stages, step by step until everything falls into place and we can see the bigger picture. Perfection!

But really that episode had so much going on, Veronica admitted her attraction for Troy, but things got complicated when the old Duncan needed Veronica's help. There was also the theme of parents and their influence or lack there of on their children.

Each time I watch a Veronica Mars episode I walk away with something different. There is so many layers to Veronica Mars and that`s what is so great about it.
