From Tim's fear of dogs, to revenge on girlfriend stealing paintball playing Duane this episode shows us that down right crazy can be down right funny.

Half the fun of this show is to spot the pop culture references in which the episodes are full of. Its really quite clever and quite clear that the cast are playing homage to the major influences in their life.

Review: Spaced: Art

Season 1 / Episode 3 / "Art"
"Zombies ARG!"

This episode gets us back on track. I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil Series of games. This episode even inspired Pegg and Wright to later create a movie called Shawn of the Dead.

From Crazy Zombie shooting scenes, to failed job interviews and a crazed art show they are all comedy gold.

Review: Spaced: Gatherings

Season 1 / Episode 2 / "Gatherings"
"Pop Culture Central."

I didn't think this was a funny as the first episode but did enjoy the pop culture references to Close Encounters of the Third Kind throughout the episode. The characters are down to earth and easy to relate to.

Wacky characters seems to be a recurring theme with Tim's best mate Mike and the down stairs resident Brian being far from normal. But that's what makes things interesting.

The episode slowed down a little compared to the first but I'm sure that things will pick up.
