SCI FI Wire is reporting that Jericho Fans have sponsored more than 200 local advertisements on cable TV in an hope to return the show to the air.
Based on what we saw last season, i would rather see the show dead. As it was clear that the production team had run out of ideas and stories. Only time will tell if the fan's efforts are in vain.

I would strongly disagree that the production team has run out of ideas and stories. For a die-hard Jericho fan, the abbreviated Season 2 made it obvious that there is still so much story to tell. The characters, in and of themselves, have so much story left and with a full 22 episode Season 3, the naysayers will realize how wrong they are.
I must say that I need to respectfully disagree with your assessment. Based on the extremely limited budget and time frame I feel that the writers did an excellent job and there is still much, much more story to tell. The next Civil War, the fallout from the Hudson River Virus, the simmering tensions between Jericho and New Bern and much, much more.
I would like to thank you for mentioning JERICHO. However, I must disagree with your assessment of the second season of JERICHO. The creative team behind the show had not run out of ideas with this latest run, but rather had to compress a normal 22-episode season into seven episodes. Many planned stories got cut all together.
There are many more stories of the Jericho universe to be told and many more threads to be followed.
I am one of many who are working ensure they do get told and followed.
Oh, I soooo don't agree with you. Season Two was excellent, and I'd love to see more Jericho! I hope all the fans hard work pays off...
I don't know what show you were watching but my family watched season 2 on the edge of their seats. This story has so many more seasons to finish it. I can't wait for the producers to nail down the deal they are working on so we can watch season 3.

I would thik the start of a 21st century civil war in America is enough of a story to have another season.

The production in Season 2 was forcibly rushed in an attempt to "wrap up" the storyline in case of cancellation. The writers did a fantastic job in setting the breakneck pace of Season 2, while leaving room for new storylines for a great Season 3. Jericho, Kansas: origin of the Next Civil War? I certainly hope we get a chance to find out!
